Leather, liquorice and tar acting together with the lemon and orange flowers of the Viognier produce a rather interesting even more dense bottling of Syrah than we normally find with our vines.

Grilled, roasted or braised beef and lamb, eggplant dishes, duck, goose, game meats such as baked, grilled salmon, brie, camembert, Kars gruyere, Konya moldy and goat brynza, and Pergamon brynza.

South facing slopes of pebble and draining clays
Cofermented with 6% Viognier after cold soaking . Rather cool fermentation to keep the tannins in check and lift the floral notes then barrel aged in 18 months.
