Kayra Imperial Okuzgozu 2012 as a limited edition vintage, is only 11 barrels made from the finest, carefully selected Okuzgozu grapes seleceted from Elazig, Sukru Baran Vineyard.

The fertile soils of Anatolia, reflecting each year’s individual environmental and climatological conditions, are more generous to some grapes than to others. While their roots imbue each grape with a rich and unique flavor, the grapes are caressed, ripened and made redolent by the sun, the wind and the rain. NOSE

Rich in dark fruits and exotic spices. juicy ripe blackberries, ripe plums and mulberries spiced with licorice, sassafrass, fennel seed, dried herbs, sweet mint and cardamom all rapped up in a sweet caramel baked pastry perfume.

PALATE

Smooth but ever present tannins show intent and a light handed focus on the purity of the vineyard.
