KAYRA IMPERIAL 2008 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

16 barrels of Cabernet Sauvingnon were selected for the blend from Thrace.

Clay soils, 15 year old vines and severe cluster thinning revealed concentrated but balanced current, ripe summer plums, dried herbs, rhubarb and espresso. Barrel aged for 18 months in 50% new french barrels added a bit of smokiness and cedar background.

Unfined, unfiltered and pampered like a baby.

Due to limited filtration, residues may form in the bottle. Before enjoying, we advise to have your wine decanted for some time as per your wish.
